Job Summary: PRN Staff Pharmacists monitor patient drug therapies, fill order for parenteral and enteral medications and provide drug information. PRN Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the Supervisor/Director of Pharmacy, PRN staff pharmacists may be required to assume the essential responsibility and perform the duties of the Supervisor/Director of Pharmacy.

Job Responsibilities:
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
Certification/Licensure: Current license in the state of Illinois
Experience Requirements: 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Exposure Category II
Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing unplanned Category I tasks. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues but exposure or potential exposure may be required as a condition of employment. Appropriate protective measures are readily available to every employee engaged in Category II tasks.
