2018 Leadership Series of the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois Education Committee

The Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois Education Committee is excited to announce the 2018 Leadership Series. The series is a great way for individuals to enhance their maximum potential through professional development.
The 2018 Leadership Series is open to anyone who wants to learn from experienced professionals and will be held at Southern Illinois Builders Association in O’Fallon, Ill., from 8-11 a.m. on the following dates:
•    April 19 - Building Your Brand and Reputation (Crisis Communication, Marketing, Networking and Social Media)
•    May 17 – Team Building (Mentoring, Leadership, Conflict Management, Managing Personalities and Workforce Development)
•    June 21 – Embracing Diversity (Equal Opportunities, Multi-Generational Balance, Recruiting and Retention)
•    July 19 – Cyber Security (Cyber Security Breach: Prevention, Repair and Recovery)
•    August 16 – Innovative Budgeting in Changing Times (Financial Vision and Best Practices)
•    September 20 – Strategic Planning (Competitive Intelligence, Strategic Visioning, Leading Change and Competitive Positioning Strategies)

Mary Poppins, Jr.  Auditions are on Saturday and Sunday, April 21 and 22 at 12:00 noon (sign-up at 11:30 am) at the Highland Elementary Auditorium.  Performances are Thursday through Saturday, June 21-23, at 7:00 pm and Sunday, June 24, at 2:00 pm at the Highland Elementary Auditorium. 
Annie, Jr.   Auditions are on Saturday and Sunday, April 21 and 22 at 3:00 pm (sign-up at 2:30 pm) at the Highland Elementary Auditorium. Performances are Thursday through Saturday, July 12-14, at 7:00 pm and Sunday, July 15, at 2:00 pm at the Highland High School Kennel. 
Oklahoma   Auditions are on Monday, May 14 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and Tuesday, May 15, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, with callbacks starting at 7:30 pm. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, July 27-28 and August 3-4, at 7:30 pm, and Sundays, July 29 and August 5, at 2:00 pm at the Highland Elementary Auditorium. This is the 75th Anniversary for Oklahoma.

Representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association will be onsite for FREE care  consultations to discuss dementia and Alzheimer’s related issues. Consultations are conducted by a social worker to answer any questions and concerns. This can include things such as caregiver stress, diagnosis questions, available resources and services, coping with behaviors, and how to communicate with someone with dementia.
•  Information and representatives on various services and programs to assist with physical and mental health will be available
•  Attendees are welcomed to tour the MCC facility and meet our staff
•  Light refreshments will be served
•  Fall Risk Assessment Screenings will be offered
•  Demonstrations of our newest technologies in therapy at MCC
