Early Rise Buffet

Come out to Country Pride Restaurant for the early riser ans stir fry buffets! The Early Riser Buffet is Monday-Friday from 5 AM-8 AM and it is $6.99 The Create Your Own Stir Fry Buffet is Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM-9 PM and costs $13.99. We hope to see you there! Glo-Bingo Band Fundraiser

On Friday, January 19, 2018 the Triad Marching Band will be hosting a Glo Bingo night! We need sponsors for each of the 10 $100 games. The sponsor's name will be on the program and announced at event. In addition, if you have something to hand out with your company name (such as coolie cups, pens, t-shirts, etc) the DJ can use them as giveaways that evening. Finally, we need donations for the silent auction. Gift certificates, themed baskets, merchandise, or whatever you would like to donate! This fundraiser will be used to raise money for instruments that will cost an estimated $50,000. In addition, the average life span of a marching band uniform is 8 years and ours are 14 years old. It is estimated that 150 uniforms will cost about $50,000.

The Knights Ball

Come support Triad Athletics on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM- 11:00 PM. This event will be held at the Fireman's Hall in Collinsville IL. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at Triad middle and High School offices, the Chamber office, and Timeout Grill. Must be 21 or up to attend.

This event will feature the live band Living Loud . The Red Carpet begins at 5:30 PM, Band will be playing from 7:00-11:00 PM, and food and drink will be served all evening. You are able to win up to $15,000 in CASH. $1,000 Early Bird drawing on Jan 31st, 2018. **cash prizes are dependent upon ticket sales**

Friends of the Maryville Community Library Book Sale **Due to severe space constraints, we no longer accept book donations.** There are books of all kinds for sale in the Friends' ongoing book sale: the latest fiction, cook books, bios, children's books, and more. Hidden treasures, old favorites, and new discoveries can all be yours for $5.00 a bag. The on-going book sale is held during regular library hours, six days a week. Stop by and browse. We'll even help you carry books to your car.

Educational Classes and Informational Meetings

Hello Everyone, The Alzheimer's Association Educational Classes will be at Main Street Community Center, in Edwardsville, the first Tuesday of every month.

To help reach families whose loved ones have Alzheimer's or other related dementias, the classes are FREE and open to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Hoelscher at 618-979-3602.

Special Olympics Illinois Basketball

397 Special Olympics Illinois athletes will compete in the Region J Basketball Team and Individual Skills on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Wesclin High School Middle School in Trenton, IL. Teams from Special Olympics Illinois Regions J, H K will begin competition at 9 a.m. with Opening Ceremonies at 10:15 a.m. The Bishop Althoff Knights of Columbus 4th Degree will present the flag In addition to team competitions, individual athletes from Special Olympics Illinois Region J will compete in Individual Skills including dribbling, shooting and passing. Gold medal winners from teams skills are eligible to advance to the Special Olympics Illinois State Basketball Tournament in Normal on March 16-18, 2018. Salvation Army Seeking Volunteers

The Salvation Army in Granite City, IL could use voluntees for assistance in the morning with stocking food pantry and making produce bags. In the afternoon we could use volunteers to assist with the distribution of the food orders for the clients of the food pantry.

Morning hours would be 9am-Noon, and Afternoon hours would be 1pm-2:45pm. If you would like to work the complete day, lunch is provided.
