In 2006, he was treated with chemotherapy over a five month period which was successful in driving the lymphoma into remission. In April 2010, Time began experiencing increased fatigue, fever spikes, and just didn't feel right. His test results revealed that although the lymphoma is still in remission, Tim now has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He began platelet and blood transfusions had his first round of chemo within several days. After a consultation with his doctor, it was explained that a Marrow Transplant will be necessary. Tim does not have any siblings so the doctors are searching the Be The Match Marrow Registry for a donor. The more people on the registry, the better the chances for thousands of people that need marrow transplants.
